Yes! Our shop and each of our tattoo artists are licensed under the FL Department of Health. Each artist is required to undergo training in compliance with the state statutes and maintain yearly training in biohazard waste disposal and universal precautions. All sharps and biohazard materials are disposed of in accordance with the law and handled by a licensed biohazard disposal firm. Each tattoo artist uses hospital disinfection and aseptic techniques for each and every tattoo. All of our needles and tubes are fully disposable. Each setup is thrown away and stations thoroughly cleaned after each tattoo.
It is illegal to tattoo anyone under the age 16 in the state of Florida. We tattoo minors that are 16 or 17 years old on a case-by-case basis. Minors are required to complete the FL Department of Health's consent form and have it notarized prior to their appointment. The legal parent or guardian who is consenting for the minor must be present for the procedure and be able to provide valid photo identification. We will not tattoo a minor in any area that cannot be covered by regular clothing, or within the undergarment lines. We reserve the right to refuse any tattoo.

Care of your tattoo is crucial to the success of the healing process. A fresh tattoo requires aftercare for the first 2-3 weeks after healing. Long-term your tattoo should be cared for by using healthy skin care practices that include regular cleaning and moisturizing, as wel as the daily use of SPF to keep your colors bright and crisp for years to come.
For a full description of the aftercare instructions for your new tattoo, please visit our aftercare page.
Yes! We have gift certificates available in any denomination. It's a great way to give a life-long gift to someone you care about. Stop by the shop, or call in your order and we'll mail the certificate to you.
Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash. Gift Certificates are non-refundable. Balances over $10 will be good toward additional sessions. All gift certificates expire five years from the date of purchase.
If a gift certificate on file is used as an appointment deposit and you cancel or no-show that appointment, the deposit amount will be deducted from your gift certificate and cannot be refunded.
Yes, a tattoo hurts. It's not excruciating to the average person, but more of an irritating feeling.
Be prepared for your tattoo by making sure you have eaten before hand, are fully hydrated and are clear of any medications that may cause bleeding or sensitivity. You will be required to complete a disclaimer on any medical conditions, skin irritations, allergies and medications at the time of consent for your tattoo.
Other ways you can be prepared are to bring: your headphones for enjoying music/movies on your device, a book to read, or even just gum to chew. Wear comfortable clothes that make it easy to access the tattoo. We aim to make your tattoo session a comfortable experience and offer beverages, snacks and other concierge items.
Touch ups are at the discretion of the artist. In most cases, the artist will give one free touch up on a NEW tattoo within a couple months of healing. Exceptions are typically fingers, hands, feet, and neck/face tattoos which no guarantees on healing, longevity or clarity can be given. Those areas are known to be rough healing areas that will look older faster, sometimes right away. For those reasons we encourage people to consider the possible pitfalls of certain body parts and tattoo them at your own risk.
In the case of older tattoos, we can touch up older work at the artist's billable rate on a case by case basis. For reworks of older pieces we recommend a consultation first.
